How To Read An Email Header?

Email headerWhenever you receive an email, there is a lot more to it than meets the eye. While you typically only pay attention to the from address, subject line and body of the message, there is lots more information available “under the hood” of each email which can provide you a wealth of additional information.

Why Bother Looking at an Email Header?

This is a very good question. For the most part, you really wouldn’t ever need to unless:

  • You suspect an email is a phishing attempt or spoof
  • You want to view routing information on the email’s path
  • You are a curious geek

Regardless of your reasons, reading email headers is actually quite easy and can be very revealing.

Bacon Taco Shell

Reblogged from studio1twenty3:

I love bacon. Seriously. I do. I do not eat it all the time, but I love when I do. Imagine the joy when my cousin posted a photo of a bacon taco shell. I had to try it. It is super easy and tasty.

I placed bacon strips on a paper towel, uncut because the bacon will shrink. You want to make sure that each slice slightly overlaps each other. That way when it cooks, they fuse together to make the shell. I microwaved my bacon for about 3 minutes. You may want to check on it each minute to make sure it is not cooking too fast or is not burning. Once out of the microwave, you fold it over and place something in the middle so it creates the inside of the shell.

After a few minutes, the bacon shell has hardened and you can fill it with your favorite taco stuffing.  I only made one to try it out and one was enough. If you love bacon you will love this. It is one of those things you just have to try at least once if you love bacon.

How cool would it be to make a breakfast taco in it! I am trying that next!

3 Ingredient Crock-pot Hawaiian Chicken

Ingredients:
  • 4-6 Boneless Chicken Breasts (mine were still frozen!)
  • 1 Bottle Archer Farms Hawaiian Style Barbecue Sauce (from Target)
  • 1 20 oz. can Pineapple Chunks, drained
Directions:

Spray the inside of your crock pot with cooking spray for an easy cleanup!  Place frozen chicken breasts in the crock pot and cover with sauce.  Empty can of drained pineapple chunks on top.  Cook on High for 2-3 hours or Low for 4-6 hours.  Shred chicken with two forks while still in the crock pot so the chicken will be well coated with sauce.  Serve over rice.
*Sometimes I also throw in a chopped up green pepper and chopped onion . . . it tastes good with or without it.

Calm Down Mind Jar

Reblogged from Herewearetogether:

We mixed 1 tablespoon of pink glitter-glue with about 1 cup of hot water, then added pink food colouring and a tiny tub of glitter. The glue makes the water so thick and gooey that the glitter just slowly and gently swirls around, it takes about 5 minutes for all the glitter to settle, perfect to gather your thoughts!

Print out the label above and attach it to your jar. Use a plastic peanut butter jar if you have little ones that drop or throw things!
