Book Worms
You’ll need:
4 or more pom-poms
1 Popsicle stick
2 wobbly eyes
Glue (white tacky glue will work, but hot glue is easier and faster)
Blackout Mini Cakes
Our school colors are black and red.. These little cakes, I found at aspicyperspective just might be the next class dessert; just need to use red food color in the glaze! Yay!

Bananas Foster Cake
I think I’ll use a boxed spice cake mix for the cake and then go to the actual recipe starting here:
Caramel Cream Cheese Icing
- ¾ cup dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
- 1½ cups plus 2 tablespoons butter, softened and divided
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
Bananas Foster Topping
- ¼ cup butter
- ½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons dark rum
- 2 tablespoons praline liqueur
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 large ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup pecan halves
