Green Bean & Stuffing Casserole

This is a twist on the classic green bean casserole. It will be your new favorite!

Ingredients:

2 cups sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup butter , divided
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese , cubed
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 lbs green beans , thawed if frozen
3 cups herb stuffing mix (like stove top)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet.

3. Add mushrooms; cook until tender.

4. Stir in cream cheese and soup; heat until cream cheese is melted, stirring gently. Stir in green beans.

5. Pour mixture into a lightly greased 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.

6. Top with stuffing mix; drizzle with remaining 2 tablespoons butter.

7. Bake 30 minutes or until hot.
