I love this idea, but why cut the folder in half? If you leave it intact, you can drape the fabric over both sides and used the folder for information about what you plan to use the fabric for, patterns, threads or embellishments you are considering for use in the project, etc.
Cool idea for Quilter’s who have smaller pieces of fabric! For us true seamstress with large pieces of fabric such as flannel. This won’t work unfortunately!
