- 20-gauge wire (I use silver-plated copper wire)
- wire cutters
- jewelry pliers
- bead(s) you love – 10mm or larger generally work best

Do It And How 
This is brilliant. I wonder that I haven’t seen it before. You can pick your own bead, make the band to fit your own (or anyone’s) finger perfectly, the design is sleek and elegant, and the whole thing is a fraction of the cost of a gemstone and setting. I may have to start wearing rings again.
