About Krisgo & Do It And How

I’ve always been creative and even called the ‘Craft Lady’ in some groups.. “You should teach all these things” or “start your own business” – I kept hearing these things from family and friends…

So I did! I currently run a screen printing business where I get to be creative with t-shirt designs (mostly for local non-profit groups, schools, etc.)

But I still like to try new things and experiment with new recipes. I found my outlet with DO IT and HOW! Here, I collect recipes and projects that I’ve either:

  • tried
  • can’t wait to try
  • think YOU will like to try
  • or ones that I’ve created myself

Thanks for visiting, come back soon! 🙂

  5. HI I am trying to find a reciepie for Horn of Plenty for my nieces pre-prom night. I am trying to make them 2″ wide by 3 1/2 long to stuff a chicken salad in them. If anyone knows of a good reciepie please let me know.

    1. Easiest method: buy a tube of Pillsbury breadsticks. Form Cones out of aluminum foil, spray with non stick spray. Wrap breadsticks around cones. Brush with egg whites. Bake until cooked and yummy.

  6. Please tell me what kind of beads… Glass or plastic and how did you get them round?
Looks like a great project… Can’t wait to try it!

  8. Love the idea and would like to try but I’m wondering about the beads. What type of beads did you use, please?

    1. For the suncatcher, we used clear and opaque pony beads. The colored transluscent beads give prettier results. You can also use other size pans. I used a mini muffin pan and made cute little discs of colors. WARNING: melting plastic is stinky, if not toxic (?) so make sure your kitchen is well ventilated.

  9. How did you paint/apply the color on the popsicle stick bracelets? They don’t look painted. Is it decoupage (sp?) Thanks. LOVE IT!

    1. These look to have scrapbooking paper or other paper decoupaged on. My favorite to use is Mod Podge. But use whatever works, try different things. popsicle sticks aren’t that expensive if something doesn’t work out!
