1/4 C warm water
1 C evaporated milk
1/2 C vegetable oil
1/2 C sugar, divided
1 large egg
4 C flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
Oil (for frying)
For the Compote:
One large apple, peeled and diced in 1/4″ pieces
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 C sugar
1 Tbsp corn starch
2 oz Fireball (cinnamon liquor)
