Book Poetry
Make a copy of a book page. (Don’t write or color in books!) Then, the challenge is to circle words and make a poem out of the words. Decorate accordingly. Generally moving from top to bottom, but this is not a rule. Check out carriezona’s gallery here, then try your own! This is awesome – I hope it picks up speed as a popular hobby!

Book of Spells
Spelling book. Get a cardboard “book” from Hobby Lobby, cover it to look like a “spell book” and fill it with magnetic or foam letters and have your children or students use them for word work/spelling practice.
Atomic Waste – Team Building Game
Everyone has to work together to get the balls from one bucket into the other without spilling.
Tie enough rope to one bucket for each person in the team/group. Add 4 or 5 balls to that bucket. Set it next or across the room from the empty bucket. On ‘GO’ everyone grabs a string and works together to get the balls from one bucket to the other without touching anything but their own string. Fun for middle school age kids and up!
