Use a wire and a wooden block. Tricky part would be getting the design perfectly flat and just how you want it.
I’d suggest writing your word out on paper just how you want it. Bend the wire over it to match, making sure you leave a long tail to attach it to the wood. Drill small hols in the wood to accept the wire, and glue finished wire in place. Heat up and stamp onto project as shown. Love this idea from TheDressIMade.
I just HAD to post this picture. My aunt collects giraffes….figurines, stuffed animas, etc. -not the real ones. Although she has been to a little bed and breakfast that has giraffes and got up close and personal with a real one… anyway I digress… anytime I see a giraffe, I think of her. And when I save up enough corks from my wine drinking. I will make one of these for her. (Too bad I dont drink wine.)

Lift up and secure top section of hair. Tye random cords and strings into hair as in picture. Release top hair. Braid all, any kind of braid, like the fishtail shown here. Tie off braid. Cut off too long cords. (Be careful not to cut the hair!) Cute and stylish idea via.
