Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes
I’ve been looking for a recipe like this.. I can’t wait to try it!

- 5 lbs potatoes (like Yukon gold or red potatoes)
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder or dried minced onion
- 4 Tbsp butter (salted or unsalted)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2-3 Tbsp cream cheese
- salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup chives or green onions, chopped
Shrimp Salad
Try this recipe on fluffy croissant rolls – yum!

- 1 pound medium shrimp in shell
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ½ teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- ¼ cup chopped red onion
- ⅓ cup chopped celery

Smothered Pork Chops
Serve over buttered egg noodles – or on a bun for a yummy sandwich!

- 4 8 to 10 ounce bone-in pork chops (or one per person)
- 3 Tablespoon canola oil
- 1 medium-sized yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can condensed cream of onion or mushroom soup
- 1½-2 cans chicken or vegetable stock (use the soup can to measure)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
Deliciously “Rotten” Deviled Eggs
You’re guests will be delighted with this dish!

- 6 eggs
- Black Food Dye
- Vinegar
- Water
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 scant tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- a splash of hot sauce
- Green gel food dye
- salt & pepper, to taste
- Paprika and chia seeds to garnish
