Gmail Grocery List Tip

We have smart phones that are connected to Gmail. So we created a Gmail account for our grocery list. This way we both always have our shopping list with us.

No more, ‘Do you remember what’s on the list at home?’ or ‘Did you pick up peanut butter when you were out?’

imagesHere’s how to do it:

  1. Set up a Gmail account that you will dedicate to your list.
  2. When you need to add an item to the list: you have two options – you can text the item to that email address (easiest, in my opinion) or email the item in the subject line to your dedicated email address.
  3. When you go shopping use the email account as your shopping list.
  4. Delete the items as you put them into your cart.

My family has been doing this for about 3 weeks and we love it so far – Try it and comment below how it’s working out for you!

Teaching Your Dog Not to Jump Up

drmark says: The most important thing to remember, no matter how you choose to train your dog, is to be consistent. If you let her jump up on you Saturday morning when you are wearing your old jeans, she will think that it is okay to jump up on you Monday morning when you are dressed for that important meeting. Your dog does not own an iPhone with a calendar, she cannot tell the difference between the weekend and a work day. Don’t let her jump up only when you are in the mood.

Banana Dolphins

Use a knife to cut a banana in half, and to carefully separate the long end as in photo. Use a grape to prop mouth open. Draw on eyes with marker or pencil. Set inside a small bowl and add more grapes. Your kids will flip for this – makes a cute after school snack – pair with some goldfish crackers!!
