Mail A Hug Project
Fun project and makes a great gift for the family members you miss the most!
- Spread out a long sheet of butcher paper.
- Trace the child’s head, arms, and upper torso onto the paper.
- You can either cut it out now or decorate first and then cut. We used paint but markers or crayons would work just fine!
- Print or write out the message below to accompany the hug.
- Fold it all up, put in an envelope and mail!
Homemade Pop Rocks
Have a poppin’ good time making these with your kids!
- 3 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
- 1½ teaspoons baking soda
- ¼ cup plus 2 teaspoons citric acid, divided
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup honey
- ⅓ cup water
- Gel or liquid food coloring (your choice of color)
Airplane Flying Practice
Trace different size plates onto newspaper or posterboard. Cut out the circles, fold up some planes and get practicing!
