The Name Game
Similar to the game ‘Time’s up’ – but free!!
You’ll need strips of paper, pencils/pens, a bowl to pass around, and a stopwatch (most cellphones have this feature built in on the clock app). Start by everyone writing down 5-10 names; famous people, family members, cartoon characters, etc..
Hot Potato Surprise Game

The Stick Game
“This one is so fun in big groups, especially if they’re competitive teenagers. To play, just give each kid in the circle a PVC pole (we cut 8ft 3/4″ poles in half for field day). The players must keep one hand behind their back and use the other to hold the pole. The volunteer calls out right or left and the players must let go of their current pole and catch the neighboring pole before it drops. If it falls, that player is out and the circle gets smaller. ”
Running Pinata Game
You’ll need a fun runner and the following:
- tshirt
- lots of wrapped candy
- glue gun & glue
- cardboard
