King’s Cup Drinking Game for Adults

Summary and Supplies:

Kings Cup is one of the most fun drinking card games you can play. It’s a flexible, simple drinking game, and every game you play is a little different. Tons of fun! All you need to play this is a deck of cards, list of rules, and a pint-sized cup.

The Game:

Place a pint-sized glass in the middle of the table.

Spread a deck of cards in a circle around the cup and have your guests sit around it.

The game begins and ends with Kings– with each King card pulled, the player who pulls that card pours some of his or her drink into the pint cup in the middle of the table.

The person who pulls the last King in the deck must drink what’s in the cup. This is especially disgusting is everybody is drinking something different.

All cards are tied to an activity/rule:

2

Two for you: Two drinks to the person of your choice

3

Three for me: Take three drinks

4

Four’s for Whores: All ladies take a drink

5

Slap: Upon seeing the five card pulled, all players must hit the table with their hand. The last person to do this drinks.

6

Six is for Dicks: All the guys take a drink

7

Thumbmaster: Whoever pulls a 7 becomes the new Thumbmaster. He or she can sneakily put their thumb on the table whenever they like. All the other players must put theirs on the table, too. The last to do it must drink.

8

I Never: Say a statement about something you’ve never done. All those who have done it must drink.

9

Rhyme: Say a short sentence. The next player has to say one that rhymes. It goes around the table til the last person can’t think of a rhyme. He or she drinks. (Words can only be used once)

10

Category: Choose a category. Each player must choose something within that category. If you can’t think of anything, you drink. (Example: chocolate candy bars: Snickers, Twix, Reese’s Cups, Milky Way, etc.)

Jack

Rule: When you pull a rule card, you get to make up a rule for the game. Every time the rule is broken, that person must drink. (See Rules Game above for some good rule ideas.)

Queen

Question Master: The person who pulls the Q is Question Master until the next Q is pulled. He or she can ask a question of another player at any time. If that player answers the question, he or she must drink.

King

King’s Cup: The first three to pull a King must pour some of their drink into the cup at the middle of the table. The last person to choose it must drink it. The game ends when the last King is pulled.

Ace

Waterfall: Everybody drinks. The player who picked the Ace starts the waterfall. No player can stop drinking until the player before him stops.

Follow the Leader Game

Follow the Leader (also known as the Copycat Game) is an action game that serves as a good energizer or warmup activity. It can be pretty hilarious watching people mimic the leader, especially if the leader does some wacky movements. There is no preparation needed for the Follow the Leader game. Find a large open space, either indoors or outdoors, and you’re ready to go!

How to Play

Ask everyone to stand and arrange the group into a circle, facing inwards. Ask one person to leave the room for a minute. This person will be the guesser for the round. While he or she is gone, the group decides who should be the “leader.” The leader will be the one who sets the movements for that round. When this person is chosen, invite the guesser to come back. The guesser stands in the very center of the circle.

When the round begins, everyone starts swinging their arms up and down. The leader will eventually begin to do other movements, and everyone else mimics the leader’s actions, without being too obvious to reveal who the leader is. The leader can do just about anything he or she wants, such as:

    • clapping
    • making a kicking motion with his or her leg
    • jumping up and down
    • singing a line from a song
    • patting his or her own head
    • a dance move

Everyone in the circle should be careful to avoid prolonged eye contact with the leader, so the leader’s identity is not given away. The guesser must keep turning his or her head to try to figure out which person is the leader (the person who is starting of all the group’s movements). The guesser is allowed to make up to three guesses. If the guess is incorrect, the round continues. If the guess is correct, the leader becomes the new guesser for the next round. If all three guesses are exhausted and the leader is not correctly guessed, the round ends and you can either keep the same guesser or switch it up.

This action game tends to be hilarious, as people try to copy the leader’s silly movements.  See photos of an example of the game being played below.

Angry Bird Sandwiches

Mini bagels
slices of salami
slices of cheddar cheese
Fresh mozzarella
black olives
romaine lettuce, shredded

Cut salami to the size of the bagel and then cut a small oval off the bottom of one side. Place on the mini bagel. Use the salami scraps to fashion feathers and place under the slice of salami and sticking out of the top of the sandwich. A cheddar beak is added, and fresh mozzarella is cut into tiny rounds for the eyes. A single black olive slice is used for both the angry eyebrows and the pupils in the eyes. Add a bit of shredded “grass” and we’re good to pack in a lunch box or serve at the table.
