Bananas Foster Ice Cream Topping
Satisfy your sweet tooth!
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 3 large firm bananas, sliced
- 2 tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted
- 1/2 teaspoon rum extract
- 3 cups reduced-fat vanilla ice cream
Marinated Tomatoes
Tomatoes as a side dish?! Yep!
- 5 large Tomatoes sliced
- 1/4 cup salad oil I use canola oil
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano leaves
- 2 green onions minced
Sourdough Breadsticks

- 250g strong white bread flour
- 100g water
- 60g active bubbly starter
- 1tbsp olive oil
- 1/2tsp salt
- Ground semolina (coarse semolina) to sprinkle on the counter
- Seeds or other additions of your choice
Bailey’s Mint Cheesecakes
Oh yeah – love a little chocolate cheesecake with my Bailey’s!! 🙂
For the crust:
- 16 whole Oreos or gluten free sandwich cookies (finely ground in food processor)
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
For the filling:
- 16 ounces cream cheese (two 8-ounce packages)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups sour cream
- 3 tablespoons Bailey’s Irish Cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate (melted and cooled slightly)
For the ganache glaze:
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate (coarsely chopped)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
