Chicken Parmesan Soup

What a great addition to your soup repertoire!

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed
  • 6 cups chicken broth or chicken stock
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 6 ounces pasta (gluten free for gluten free)
  • 1/2 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan), grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 handful basil, chopped

No Bake Birthday Cake Lasagna

  • For The Pudding
  • 3 large egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 TBSPs vanilla cake mix
  • 2 TBSPs cornstarch
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • For The Filling
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2/3 cup plus 2 TBSPs vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles
  • 8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • For The Layers
  • 11 oz Belgian waffle crisps (found in the bakery department)
  • 3 TBSPs sprinkles
