Last Saturday night we decided to add a little excitement to our date night – and took a trip into Niagara Falls to the casinos!

While I am certainly not a gambler, I’ve always been a little fascinated by casinos. The bright lights, ringing bells, the drinks – it’s all very exciting! Anything can happen!

DVD Case Upcycle Into Coloring Kit

You’ll Need:

empty DVD case {now, every DVD case is slightly different so you may need to make adjustments depending on the style of case you have}
thin cardboard {I used an old USPS mailing box}

card stock

fabric

colorful paper {for the outside artwork}

spray adhesive {this is going to be your best friend for this project!}

Watermelon Punch Bowl

Ingredients

1 oblong seedless watermelon (about 14 pounds)
3 cups seltzer

Directions

Cut top third off watermelon; trim bottom just enough to make a flat surface. Scoop out flesh.
Working in batches, puree watermelon in a food processor. Strain through a fine sieve; discard solids. (You should have about 9 cups juice.) Cover rind with plastic wrap. Refrigerate juice and rind until chilled, about 1 hour. Combine juice with seltzer; transfer to rind. via
