DIY Recycled Paper
Using a blender, a coat hanger, pantyhose, and an iron, you can convert your ripped up scraps of paper into a new sheet that you can use as stationary or greeting cards, or you can go a step further and make many pages for your own completely recycled notebook or journal. Read more HERE
Paper Mache Decoupaged Bowls
Homemade from start to finish!
- Large bowl to use as a mold. Plastic, ceramic and steel bowls will all work well.
- Newspaper
- Cling film/plastic wrap
- White glue or flour
- Gesso White Acrylic Primer
- Mod Podge
- Plain white paper napkins
- Masking tape
- Printer paper
- Acrylic polyurethane sealer
Pop Up Butterfly Card
These little pretties will not fly away!
- An A5 Card (we used a green one)
- Some black paper – ours was 21cm long and 6cm high (but white can work too and you can decorate it with pens!)
- Some orange paper (to decorate)
- Scraps for additional decorating if you wish (e.g. blades of grass)
- A little white paint & tooth pick for the monarch butterfly wing’s details!
- Scissors
- Glue stick
