Perfect Sugar Dough
No need to chill – just mix, cut and bake – love it!
Sugar Cookies:
1 C Sugar
3 C Flour
1 Tsp Baking Powder
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 C Butter
2 Eggs
4 Tbsp Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla
Frosting:
1/3 C Butter
3 C Powdered Sugar
3 Tbsp Milk
1 1/2 Tsp Almond extract (or vanilla if you prefer)
Texas Trash
Perfect snack mix for parties or in baggies for lunchboxes!
1/2 (14 ounce) box of Rice Chex cereal
1/2 (14 ounce) box of Corn chex cereal (or wheat)
1/2 (1 pound) bag of pretzel sticks
1 (7.5 ounce) bag of Bugles (regular)
1 regular can (8.75 ounce) of deluxe mixed nuts
1 cup of pecans or cashews (or nut of your choice)
1-1/2 sticks butter
1 tablespoon Steak Seasoning
1 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon -1 tablespoon Hot Sauce (amount depends on your taste)
1 teaspoon -1 tablespoon Hot Sauce (amount depends on your taste)
Winter Fruit Salad
This will pull you out of the winter blues for sure!

Salad:
- 2 red apples, cored and diced
- 2 pears, cored and diced
- 4 clementine oranges, peeled and separated into segments
- 3 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced into thin rounds and then silce rounds into quarters
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
Dressing:
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
Easy Glazed Sugar Cookies
In any shape, these cookies are easy to prepare and such a joy to receive!

Cookies
- 2 and 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup of unsalted butter (slightly softened)
- 3/4 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 tsp(s) of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Icing
- 3 ounces of pasteurized egg whites
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
- pink, purple, blue and red liquid or gel food colorings
