Coconut Cream Pie
The Classic!
- 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut
- 3 cups half-and-half
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
- 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Turkey and Spinach Meatballs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- ¼ – ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional – adjust to your preference)
- 16 oz frozen chopped spinach (defrosted, drained, and squeezed to remove excess water)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- ⅓ cup chicken broth
- 2½ lbs lean ground turkey
- ¾ cup bread crumbs
