• 5 lbs potatoes (like Yukon gold or red potatoes)
• 3/4 cup chicken broth
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp onion powder or dried minced onion
• 4 Tbsp butter (salted or unsalted)
• 1/4 cup sour cream
• 2-3 Tbsp cream cheese
• salt and black pepper, to taste
• 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
• 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
• 1/3 cup chives or green onions, chopped
