• ½ cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons ketchup
• 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon water
