Girl Scout Vest Swaps
These were made from craft foam. Buy a pack of assorted colors – or use those scraps you’ve been saving. Provide some small patterns and a hole punch for those round badges. Use a small piece of felt and drops of glitter glue for the ‘tab’. Dress up with gel pens, markers, and glue together. Great busy project with a neat outcome. Don’t forget to have small safety pins on hand to pin them on their swap hat/vest/bag-strap/etc. via pinterest
Display Case from Old Windows
You could inquire about purchasing it or other great rehabs HERE. OR you could make your own. Find 4 like sized windows, a stool and some scrap lumber for the top. Don’t forget the hinges and a door knob and catch. Add some ingenuity and you could make your own display case. I’d love to see this as a bird cage. Substitute one door with screen. And include a removable base for cleaning. And of course some branches for birds! Love!
Sweater Shoulder Tie-up
“Take an old sweater. Cut a slit in along the shoulder down about 7″. Fold over raw edge and sew in place. Sew a piece of ribbon about 15″ long to one side of neckline and another ribbon to the other side of the neckline. Tie together!”
