Sunglasses Case Project

We are loving this Kantha stitching – try it!

  • fabric scraps in coordinating colors (about ten 12″ x 1.5″ strips)
  • one larger piece of fabric about 10″ square for the lining
  • fusible fleece (about 10″ square)
  • coordinating embroidery floss (like pearl embroidery floss)
  • embroidery needle (like Sashiko needles.)
  • rotary cutter & mat (not required, but recommended)

Fabric Magnets

Great way to use left-over scraps of cute fabric!

  • Scraps of fabric at least 2″ by 2″
  • Bottle of Gorilla Glue (or other very strong holding glue)
  • Dritz Brand Craft Cover Button Kit (size 36) 7/8″ (be sure the kit includes a button mold, plain backs, and pusher)
  •  Round magnets size 5/8″ (avoid magnets with super smooth coverings)
  •  Hand-sewing needle and thread
  • Fabric marking pen
  • Small piece of sandpaper

Necklace Storage

Cut a hole in the center that will fit over the top of the glass bottle. Then screw in small hooks along the sides – easy peasy!
