Travel Toothbrush and Toothpaste Holder

This simple sewing project would make a great community service project. Contact your local food/personal care bank/shelter OR your local Division of Family Services to see if there are any guidelines to follow before you make a bunch of these to donate!

Supplies needed:
•Washcloth (sized 12″ x 12″.)
•Coordinating ribbon. (Approximately 2 feet)
•Sewing machine with thread
•Scissors

Family Handprint Project

Use paints, starting with the largest hand and slightly overlapping each additional print. This family did theirs on a ceramic tile, but you could use paper, or fabric, or whatever you’d like. Don’t forget your pet’s paw prints too 🙂

Baked Onion Rings

Suprise your family with this fun side dish – or make these for snacking!

Ingredients:
2 large yellow onion
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
4 cups panko breadcrumbs
4 eggs
1/4 cup buttermilk
canola oil
dipping sauce of choice (ketchup, ranch, etc.)
