This is a weird list. Postage stamps and envelopes? What college kid still writes letters? iPod speakers? Do all kids have iPods or some other portable Apple device? Iron and ironing board? I am an adult and have not used those things in about 20 years–why would a college kid?
This list may be a good start but needs heavy editing.
You pay hundreds of dollars for things you already have at home. That’s ridiculous. Leave the electronics at home. Your there to study not play. One tablet is all you need, headphones and a good lamp. lol

I agree the list is super extensive… We had a similar list sent home by SEMO, and we edited lots of stuff… Always; less is best.
