I’ve seen these called ‘Matchstick Cookies’ – try them and use colored sprinkles to match your party decor.

• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 Tablespoons whole milk
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
• Assorted sprinkles, toast coconut flakes or chopped nuts
