Purple Brownies
PURPLE is a favorite color and BROWNIES are a favorite snack; put them together and we have a major WIN!

- 1 1/4 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter
- 3/4 cups + 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 2 teaspoons ube extract/flavoring

- 3 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
- 1½ teaspoons baking soda
- ¼ cup plus 2 teaspoons citric acid, divided
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup honey

- Gel or liquid food coloring (your choice of color)
