- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 ripe pears, quartered
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup plant based milk, I used soy

- 1/4 cup chopped carrot
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon “Better Than Bullion” chicken base
- 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme, plus more for garnish if desired
- 1 egg, beaten slightly with a fork
