Prep balloons ahead of time, insert a note with the different activities you’ve planned into each one before blowing them up. Write times on the balloons with permanent markers. Then when that time hits- pop the balloon and do the activity!
Some ideas: bake cookies, play a game, paint nails, sing a song, eat cake, open a present, etc…

Use a strong garden stake, or a piece of rebar from your home and garden store.
Get several clay pots, the kind with the hole in the center of the bottom.
Start at ground level with the biggest pot. Tilt it until the side touches the stake. Repeat tilting opposite way every other pot.
Fill pots with soil and your favorite plants!
Cute – would be a great surprise for Mom on Mother’s Day!
*Update: Best to use rebar – (for strength) and hammer it into the ground- you don’t want your pots leaning or falling over.*

On canvas, capture footprints of your baby. See how they used the right foot on the left and the left foot on the right. Use finger prints for the antennae. After all ‘printed’ use a marker to draw the head and body of the butterfly. So adorable!
