Cranberry Jello Salad

The only acceptable “jello” + “salad”!

2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cherry Jell-O (or raspberry or cranberry, if you can find it)
1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (do not drain the juice)
1 can whole cranberry sauce (a little less than 2 cups homemade cranberry sauce)
1 cup chopped pecans, divided
3/4 cup cranberry or apple juice
TOPPING
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup sour cream

Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies

Perfect to set out for Santa!

1 box of white cake mix
2 large egg whites
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup chocolate chips + extra to press on top of the cookies prior to baking
1/4 cup red white and green holiday sprinkles

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Better than basic!

Dough

1 cup soft butter (softened)
8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
3 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

Frosting

2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons soft butter
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Milk to desired consistency
