These totally tossable, squishable balls are lightweight and easy to grip, making them perfect for novice jugglers, beanbag games, or a good old game of catch.
Stretch the first balloon by inflating it halfway, holding it closed for about 30 seconds, and deflating it.
Place a funnel in the balloon’s neck and gradually pour in 3/4 cup of lentils, pushing them in as you go. The balloon should be firm but squeezable.
Snip off the balloon’s thick rubber lip. Cut the neck off a second balloon and gently stretch the opening.
Ease the second balloon over the filled balloon, tucking in the neck as you go.
Cut the neck off the third balloon, stretch the opening, and ease it over the other two. Repeat this process to make a set of three balls, or however many you’d like.
From healthchildren: Getting ready for a newborn is very exciting. There is so much to do to keep your baby comfortable and happy that sometimes you might not know where to begin. You have to make your house cosy, clean, and comfortable for the baby that is safe from any hazards or harmful illness.
Here are some tips to help prepare your house for your new arrival.
1. It is important to make your home and surrounding child safe. Child’s curiosity knows no bounds and they grow very fast. Put all sharp objects in a place where the child cannot reach. Keep all electrical fittings covered. You may need to buy a special car seat for your new baby.
2. Store all chemicals up and away, properly sealed and labelled. Commonly used substances like detergent, aftershave, alcohol can be toxic to the baby. A locked storage space like high cabinets is best.
3. Disconnect electrical rollers, hair dryers from the plug point, when not in use. Look at your corners, there may lay some unnecessary wires, sockets etc. Throw them away.

From Come Together Kids : My kids love collecting seashells, but I never liked how gross their shells got by the end of the vacation. Take some wet, sandy shells, leave them in plastic buckets in the hot summer sun for a few days and you’ll end up with a stinky mess that you don’t want to transport home. I decided I’d try my hand at making my own mesh seashell bags. I was really pleased with the way they turned out and they worked just as I’d hoped ~ the perfect bag for collecting and no stinky, sandy buckets of wet shells to lug back home.

Betty Crocker lemon cake mix is the base for our cupcakes. And the frosting and yogurt — well, just wait’ll you see what we do with those.
Here’s the secret weapon: A 6″ store-bought cheesecake! NOT KIDDING! Get out your 1-1/4″ cookie scoop (or a spoon) and scoop out 24 little cheesecake balls.
Now make the batter: cake mix, lime-flavored gelatin, Key lime juice, water, oil, eggs and a couple-a drops-a green food coloring.
Now we’re going to make that batter gobble up the cheesecake balls like this:
Do that for all 24 cupcakes and they’ll be ready to bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or so — just until your touch springs back on top. You don’t want to over-bake them because, remember, you have a baked cheesecake center already there!
Then, voila! Lookie what’s inside!
The icing is a thin mixture of the ready-to-spread frosting, Key lime juice, Key lime yogurt and a bit o’ powdered sugar. Since it’s a fresh and fluid, it’s easiest to invert the cupcakes and dip the tops into the frosting mixture (rather than trying to frost ‘em with a knife).
