Pop Up Butterfly Card
These little pretties will not fly away!
- An A5 Card (we used a green one)
- Some black paper – ours was 21cm long and 6cm high (but white can work too and you can decorate it with pens!)
- Some orange paper (to decorate)
- Scraps for additional decorating if you wish (e.g. blades of grass)
- A little white paint & tooth pick for the monarch butterfly wing’s details!
- Scissors
- Glue stick
Rice Snake – Sensory Belt
You can heat these for sore muscles OR you can use them as a sensory object – Read the article HERE.
- Clean Sock – try to get a super long one. We are using a knee-high tube sock. My kids love the fuzzy texture.
- Rice – we used 8 cups of rice. A LOT! The amount you will use depends on the size of your sock.
- Needle and thread.
I Spy Bulletin Board
Fun activity using all those bits and baubles from your junk drawer and beyond. Attach random items onto a bulletin board; have kiddos spy and find a selected item!
