Foaming magic!
- 1 cup Epsom Salt
- 1/2 cup Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Blue Dawn Dish Liquid
Game: Tchuka Ruma
A game for 1 player, very similar to Mancala. Try it!
How to play:
Pick up counters from any square and drop them, one by one into each section (similar to Mancala) towards the Ruma square. This is called “sowing the seeds”.
What comes next depends on where your last counter falls.
If your last counter falls into Ruma then you move again, sowing seeds starting from the square of your choice.
If your last counter falls into an empty space, you lose.
If your last counter falls into a space already occupied by one or more counters, pick up all the counters from that square and continue sowing the seeds.
Crunchy Roasted Edamame Beans
For ease – buy your edamames already shelled in the freezer aisle!
- 2 cups frozen, shelled edamame cooked according to package directions, and cooled.
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil in liquid state (might have to microwave it)
- kosher salt
Gardening Tips: Using a Muffin Pan
Take the tray outside to your yard with lightly packed dirt. Press the tray into the dirt to create perfectly spaced indentations for whatever herbs you want in your garden.
Take your tray and flip it over. Screw tiny holes in the bottom of each cup to help with circulation. Then pack each cup with dirt and seeds and don’t forget to water
