  • 2 tablespoons tahini (sesame seed paste)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 15 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup roasted pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • Dried parsley, olive oil, and pine nuts for garnish if desired
