  • 1 package instant yeast or active dry yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar, to taste
