Pumpkin Pie Crunch Dessert

If you love pumpkin pie, but don’t want to mess with pie dough – here’s your answer!

  • 15.5 ounces canned pumpkin
  • 12 ounces evaporated milk
  • 3 eggs large
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup pecans chopped
  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
8 slices soft white bread, crusts cut off
3 tablespoons butter, for saute pan
maple syrup, for serving
